- For officers and crew over 20 year’s: Legendary rock pub/concert place “GARAGE” serves “Tall Ships’ Rock n’ Roll Jam” on Monday 11 August from 22pm. Free entrance, preferential treatment in the queue, discount on a preselected beverage. NB: These privileges also available from Friday 08 August – Monday 11 August.
- “Beffen” the name of the little ferry that takes you across the harbour: NOK 10, - with discount included (all days during festival from 10.am – 10pm, except Sunday from 10am – 8pm).
- Fløibanen Funicular, 20% discount on ticket, and every day during the festival: Fløibanen in Bergen is one of Norway's most famous tourist attractions and the only cable car of its kind in Scandinavia. You have not really seen Bergen before you ascend to the roof of Bergen on the Fløibanen Funicular.

Bergen Maritime museum, a modern museum of great interest to those who wish to follow the development of shipping from the Old Norse period up to present day. Free of charge all days during the festival.

The Hanseatic Museum is situated centrally on Bryggen in Bergen (see Town plan). The museum shows how the German merchants from The Hanseatic League lived and worked. From 1350 to 1750 these merchants traded stockfish and grains from their office in Bergen. Free of charge all days during the festival.

The Leprosy Museum: The Norwegian history of leprosy is part of the worldwide history of an illness that on account of its heavy stigma resulted in the exclusion and humiliation of millions of people. Between 1850 and 1900 Bergen was an international capital of leprosy, with three hospitals for lepers and the largest concentration of patients in Europe. Free of charge all days during the festival.

Bryggens Museum allows you to experience life in medieval Bergen, and the museum has been built over the remains of the first settlement at Bryggen. NOK 25, - with discount included.

Bergen Aquarium: NOK 115, - with discount included, every day during the festival: explore and experience all the weird and wonderful things that go on beneath the surface at close quarters.

Bergens expressen (“sightseeing train” on the road): The excursion starts on the hour (every hour) from Torget. The “train” proceeds through Kong Oskarsgate and through the old city gate. The tour continues past Hansa Brewery and up to the hillside road 'Fjellveien', where you have a fabulous view of Bergen, the city centre and the harbour. A brief stop will be made at the 'Fjellhytten' where you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs and buy refreshments. After about 10 minutes, you start descending through picturesque small roads to the Maria Church, 'King Haakons Hall' and the 'Rosenkrantz Tower', in order to reach the point of departure. Duration estimated to 50 minutes. 50%discount on ticket (=NOK 60,-)

VILVITE (Norwegian: 'Want to know') is a science discovery centre for the promotion of science and technology among children and people of all ages. Here you can explore 75 interactive installations, machines and experiments on 1700 square metres of space.
